These terms apply to healthcare professionals using MeDate, in addition to the general Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.
1. Doctor registration
The doctor creates a professional account and profile. New doctor accounts remain pending until activated by the platform administration, and only then appear in search.
2. Accuracy of professional information
The doctor is responsible for keeping their details (name, specialty, clinic, area, languages, biography, photo) accurate, truthful and up to date.
3. Professional credentials
The doctor confirms that they hold the licences and registrations required to practise their profession and will inform MeDate of any change.
Activation of an account does not constitute verification of professional credentials by MeDate, unless a verification process is expressly described.

4. Clinic / location information
The clinic address and area must match the actual place where appointments take place.
5. Availability
The doctor enters their available times for specific dates. Patients only see free times. The doctor must keep their availability up to date.
6. Appointment management
The doctor manages their own appointments (view, cancel, reschedule) according to the platform functionality and the Appointment Cancellation Policy, and informs patients of changes in good time.
7. Manual patient creation
The doctor may create patients manually and book appointments for them. The doctor is responsible for ensuring they are entitled to enter this information and that patients are appropriately informed.
8. Patient confidentiality
The doctor maintains medical confidentiality of their patients' information, in accordance with the law and professional ethics.
9. Appropriate handling of patient information
Patient information is used only for providing healthcare services and managing appointments. The doctor only enters information that is relevant and necessary.
10. Professional responsibility
The doctor is solely responsible for medical services, diagnoses, treatments and professional conduct. MeDate does not provide medical services.
11. Subscription
Use of MeDate by doctors may be subject to a subscription.

12. Premium status
Doctors with Premium status may be shown with a Premium badge and higher placement in search results. Premium status is set by the platform administration.

15. Account suspension
The platform administration may suspend a doctor account in case of a breach of these terms, a security risk or subscription issues. While suspended, the profile does not appear in search and new bookings are not accepted; existing data is not deleted because of the suspension.
16. Security
The doctor protects their sign-in details and does not allow others to use their account.
For support purposes, the platform administration may obtain time-limited access to the doctor's workspace, which is logged.

17. Data protection
The doctor complies with applicable data protection law. The allocation of controller/processor roles between MeDate and the doctor will be legally finalised before production launch.

18. Complaints

19. Termination
The doctor or MeDate may end the relationship in accordance with these terms and the subscription cancellation terms.
